In London, a packed square echoed with chants as thousands joined a mass rally urging climate justice, demanding bold action on policies, greener energy, and clean air.


Meanwhile, in Rome and Milan, cities rose in solidarity with Gaza — over 75 municipalities across Italy saw a sweeping general strike, protests blocking roads, shutdowns in ports, and voices chanting “stop weapons to conflict”. 


On Wall Street, anxiety surfaced again: stock futures slipped for a third straight session as inflation fears returned, and Treasury yields climbed. 


At the UN’s High-Level Week, global leaders cast hopeful glances at peace talks, climate goals, and human rights—but the tension was visible in each speech, each gesture. 


Back home, local artists and poets took over city squares, turning protest zones into stages — flash poetry readings, acoustic songs, murals in progress — infusing the serious with hope and creativity.
